I got on Continental flight CO82 on the evening of December 31st. I took a nap, woke up and chatted with Lana and Sabrina, my fellow travelers, I got off the plane it was night time. I went to bed woke up and it was January 2nd. No new year's celebration, no confetti, no champagne or nightwatch service, I just jumped straight into the new year!
I am thankful that my plane ride was uneventful and that my classmate Zubin was at the airport to meet us as promised. This is going to be an adventure!
I have to run now but stay tuned to hear about the "muslim toilet" LOL!
